City Council approves Aldi's site plan
The Plano city council approved the 16900 square foot facility to be located on route 34 and Belli Drive just west of Wal-Mart. The building is a modified new prototype with clerestory windows and a more modern exterior. The store is expected to open in the spring of 2008. The Aldi spokesman said the store will employ 12 people.
